E A Bowles (1865 – 1954)
The snowdrop drawings of Edward Augustus Bowles, revered plantsman, artist and the foremost expert on bulbous plants, entered the Lindley Library of the Royal Horticultural Society in 1955, forming a unique record of older cultivars.
Lady Erskine has chosen some of these beautiful paintings to create wonderful cards, padblocks and framed giclee prints for everyone to enjoy.
